Yesterday my friend of 43 years and I were out shopping. It was rather windy and as soon as we pulled into our parking space she exclaimed “Oh, no!”, jumped out of the vehicle and chase a run-away shopping cart that was headed for the side of a brand new SUV. She caught it in time, but I don’t think the owner had any idea she saved him his deductible…

The stirring, gut wrenching, cry from within to urgently help another with no thought whatsoever is the difference. Most of us have been witness to such an event, perhaps afterward, wondering why we didn’t rush forth ourselves since we were right there. I have. I have also been the one to rush to the rescue. Why do we sometimes pause, even with no possible negitive consequences? Something about fight or flight syndrome maybe..classes & books about it. I will make an effort to check my integrity and pray to live the Golden Rule fully. Seems to me it comes down to that. Isn’t that reaction one we would hope someone will take for us? That, and point out good deeds to our youth. Let them see us be selfless and quick to help anyone in need. Random acts of kindness. Pay it forward. It’s a good thing!

Puppie Patrol
The other day I rescued a cute little pomeranian from the street after a car almost hit her.
I usually put up fliers and try to find the owner but I did not have time for this. I called the local humane society and asked them to pick her up. I told them to Pick up the black pomeranian not the little black poodle. When they arrived they checked out my poodle and discovered her license was not current and cited me . My poodle is now current and I am $60.00 poorer. The pomeranian is well and happy and back at home. Oh well.

The pleasent of heart
To me what important is the pleasent and gladness of the person who precluded the cart from crashing the car. İn daily life we are blind to prodigies that God have sent down it to us. Only extraordinary things that amazes us. İn fact evry instant of life is full of miracles for the one who has heart eyes to see.
