Potty Mouths

Last evening I was at dinner with my husband and 7 year-old daughter. It is a favorite restaurant of ours - casual, great food and very friendly staff. It is a small place of only about 20 tables. Shortly after we sat down, a table of four 20-somethings sat at the table behind us. They were sort of loud and used curse words in their conversation freely. Each time we heard one, my husband and I would cringe.

After about 10 minutes, they noticed we had a child with us and asked the server if they could move tables. As they were moving, they made the comment that they wanted to move to an area of the restaurant where they could have a potty mouth.

While they were clearly from a different walk of life than us - they respected our child’s ears and made an impressive decision! We were so appreciative of this kind gesture; we made sure they knew it did not go unnoticed.

good choice

I think it is so nice to know that some people would have such repsect for young children. No one has ever done that for me.

Potty Mouths Have No Respect

Most people that use curse words in public or often looking for attention and have no idea of the way words of filth can damage their entire being. Just because you are in a public setting and, People don’t know you, does not mean it’s okay! Really and Truly, People that continually use curse words in any setting make themselves look a little retarded. Is there something that can be done about “Foul Mouths” in Public Places?
