  1. Maybe with a few changes

I actually went and checked out this website before I decided whether I agreed with it or not. Parts of it are fine. There's a page with pictures of victims, although there were only two at the time I checked it, and this was the most touching page of all. The other cases are split up into felonies and misdemeanors. A lot of the people charged with felonies are only pictured as a cartoon in a jail cell, while all of the misdemeanors I checked had their actual pictures. The cases where someone was killed or severely injured and the defendant was sentenced to prison, sure put them on the website, but not on billboards. As far as the misdemeanors go, why not make a website for people who shoplift a $3 tube of lipstick, too! Granted, drunk driving and stealing makeup is nowhere near one and the same, and I don't mean it as so. The website is actually not a bad idea, I just think they should be a little more selective as to the content that they include in it.

  2. It's easier to forgive than forget.

I'm one of those people that doesn't hold grudges for very long, but it also takes a whole lot to make me mad, anyway. I hate the feelings I have when I'm mad at someone. It's a lot of additional stress to deal with, and I have enough without it. While there are a few people that I no longer talk to because of things that happened between us, it's because they're not the people I thought they were, not because I'm still mad about it. People do different things for different reasons, and just because it's not what's right to you, chances are they were using their own kind of logic when they did it. If everyone held onto every wrong that was done to them, the world would be an awful place full of anger and hatred. As the saying goes, be the bigger man...or woman. It's easy to stay mad at somebody, but it takes a much better and stronger person to look someone in the eye and say "It's okay, I forgive you" than to avoid them the rest of your life.

  3. Why not?

Paris may not have the most admirable record in the world, but if she wants to go help others, then by all means let her! How many of us, given the chance, would be willing to give up part of our lives to go to another country and help out those less fortunate. Yes, it is possible that there are ulterior motives here bordering on the line of selfishness, but Paris is one of the most watched celebrities in the world right now. If they do make a reality show out of it, why not have a number at the end where people can make donations to the Rwandans. While Paris Hilton is far from a decent role model, a lot of people would probably be more likely to give money after watching this than just another infomercial. Much like Idol Gives Back from American Idol. Not only that, but maybe by Paris visiting Rwanda and experiencing first hand how some people have to live their lives every day, it will make a difference in her life, too.
