Tony is executive produced by Grant Heslov and George Clooney. Actor Tate Donovan stars as Michael, a relentlessly responsible father. But the Tony at issue isn’t his son. It’s his son’s teddy bear. Or more vexingly, his 6-year-old son’s lost teddy bear. And therein lies the crisis, the challenge, and the question: Can you ever be too responsible? Read full article

I'm just too cynical to appreciate it
And a rat jumped out and bit the rich white guy on the nose. The End.
I’m sorry, I thought this was pointless. It’s a movie, people—the kid doesn’t really have cancer, the ex-Hercules guy isn’t really his father. It’s a fairy tale, just like the Disney cartoon.

Oh to be in better contact with old friends and ac
I’d love to find my high school or even USC Class of ’59 college mates. Maybe one of them can find a part time job where I can have an amazing impact. That is my style.

not good at all
i was personally disgusted that the kid was totally ungrateful. and that you didnt get to see any of the reactions from the strangers that gave up their time to help. and that the dad found the bear at the last minute… totally contrived. totally self-indulgent…. has george clooney written all over it….

wow
my sister was sick at valley children’s hospital, and this exact thing happened. Her teddy was taken out with the sheets while she was in surgery and she was frantic when she woke up and he was gone. they spent days, going through bags and bags of laundry at the massive cleaning warehouse and everyone said it was impossible…he was found and returned 3 days later.
ugh! this made me cry like crazy!

what?
this movie is a perfect example of how people need to feel warm and fuzzy about possibilities and overlook how unrealistic the situation might be. It might have a positive aspect, but to believe that most of the scenarios in this film could happen is just plain silly.

TONY
I am a writer and a small business owner. My work revolves mostly around youth and adults who work with and/or impact youth. It is transformative work. One of the concepts I try to teach is “community.” Not the narrow meaning, but the larger, global, sense of community. Thank you so very much for giving me another tool for the box.
Best Regards,
Patrice

Very well done
It is not only about the things we do for our kids. It is also about learning to smile like that smile at the very end when we know how little we are appreciated, but don’t care because we have empathy for those people and understand their limitations as well.
