Touching Beyond Words
Girls like this are not the luck of the draw. They’re what happens when parents have taken their responsibility to raise good people seriously. This was immensely touching and very inspiring to me. Thanks to Ron Shelton for seeing how important it was to make it into a film from which we could all learn.

Way to Go!
In the Indn Way, we don’t have any patience with lip service. These young women defined “walking their talk” & sportsmanship. These are, after all, supposed to ‘games’ & the people are supposed to ‘play’ them. Made the hair on my spine stand up in a good way. Wopila tanka! / Profound or strong thanks!

i have been a big baseball fan all of my 63 years, played, coached, collected, written baseball histories, love the sport—i have never seen a cooler or more touching baseball happening like this. somehow, it makes me proud to be an American.

New President
Unfortunately your new president needs to demonstrate HIS cooperation with the people, most of whom are not pleased with many of his actions. Unless you cooperate yourself, you cannot ask others to. That is not called cooperation:it is called hypocricy.
The people do NOT want a massive NEW healthcare scheme but simply to cover those who are not covered.
The people do NOT want their leader to apologize to the very countries FROM which terrorists who have killed 1000’s of innocent people have been raised.
The people do NOT want their leaders to promise one thing and do another.
Yes Mr. Obama has a wonderful chance to cooperate, since it is YOUR country that raised Abraham Lincoln who said, “It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government: of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
Yes Mr. Obama, America and the world is waiting to see if YOU can COOPERATE with the people who elected you SO THAT THIS NATION, UNDER GOD … THAT GOVERNMENT: OF THE PEOPLE,BY THE PEOPLE AND [ESPECIALLY] FOR THE PEOPLE should not perish from this earth.
Now we will watch to see if Mr. Obama cooperates like the girls did in this wonderful movie!

i didn’t think i’d cry over this film … but it did move me to tears … and to think it’s based on a real event. wow. hats off to all. i wished the film mentioned the women who carried the girl, so that we can send them our best wishes …

beautiful story but it is way too slow… i almost didnt stay with it til the end which is where the story is.
