Needling Questions: Immunizing Kids
If you choose not to have your child vaccinated against measles, mumps, chicken pox, and other infectious diseases, does your responsibility end there?
It’s a debate that continues as the trend for not vaccinating children increases.
Parents who believe that vaccinations are linked to autism, or who object for religious or other reasons, balk at government regulations that bar their unvaccinated children from attending school if they don’t have the required shots. One anti-vaccination group calls forced vaccination “a violation of human rights.”
But those on the opposite side of the argument say not vaccinating violates the rights of others. According to officials at the Centers for Disease Control, “The decision not to vaccinate is a decision for your child but also a decision for society.” They say that unlike other medical issues where refusing treatment affects only the patient, refusing vaccinations puts others at risk as well, including newborns and people with suppressed immune systems.
Parents of unimmunized children rely on the vast majority of kids who do get their shots, figuring there’s little polio, measles, chicken pox or other pathogens to be found among so many protected kids. But with recent measles outbreaks in four states, that protection may not be enough. “We are seeing outbreaks that look different, concentrated among intentionally unimmunized people,” says an immunization official. “I hope they’re not the beginning of a worse trend.”

JUST BECAUSE DOCTORS AND THE COMPANYS WHO MAKE THE SHOTS TELL YOU THEY ARE SAFE, DOESN’T MEAN THEY ARE. DO A LITTLE MORE RESEARCH AND YOU WILL FIND THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS THEY DON’T TELL YOU. WHY WOULD THEY? THEY ARE GETTING PAID TO PRODUCE THESE POISONS AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR CHILD OR ANYONE ELSE’S. IT’S A DOCTORS JOB TO TELL YOU THEY ARE SAFE AND THAT THE RISKS OUTWEIGH THE BENEFITS. JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE A DOCTOR DOESN’T MAKE THEM GOD. THERE ARE OTHER DOCTORS OUT THERE WHO WILL TELL YOU THEY ARE AGAINST SHOTS. I PERSONALLY HAVE TO AGREE WITH THEM. YES, I WORRY ABOUT THE RISKS OF THESE DISEASES, BUT I’M NOT WILLING TO TAKE THE CHANCE OF MY DAUGHTER HAVING ANOTHER BAD REACTION TO ANOTHER SHOT, THEREFORE I WILL NOT HAVE HER VACCINATED UNTIL YOU CAN GUARANTEE ME SAFETY. UNTIL THEN, KEEP YOUR SHOTS. AND FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK UNVACCINATED CHILDREN ARE PUTTING VACCINATED CHILDREN AT RISK, LET ME ASK YOU THIS……..IF YOUR CHILD IS ALREADY VACCINATED AGAINST THESE DISEASES, THEN HOW COULD THEY GET THEM FROM A CHILD WHO IS NOT VACCINATED? Wake Up!!!!
Just look around and think. When we get these vaccines 5/10 get sick from them , yes they live but they get sick. When we get sick we may not get it as bad because our bodies build a defense against what the vaccine(s) were for. But after we run and get every single little vaccine we hear about after a while our bodies will get sick because of all the illness we have added to them to prevent sickness… So im not saying you should not take steps to protect yourself and your children.. I am saying “If you stick your self with every single vaccine you hear about, you are going to increase your chances of illness. You are putting harmful viruses into your body.” Im not a doctor, and i may be wrong but think about it use your head.

“FIRST DO NO HARM”, just an oath taken by doctors who prescribe vaccines and medications which in their pamphlets list all possible harm due to side effect? What justifies any side effects? PEOPLE WAKE UP, WE ARE ALL BEING GENETICALLY MODIFIED AND OUR YOUNGEST THE MOST. How many vaccines did we have growing up in the 60’s and who knows of people dying from simple childhood diseases? Complications arise in those with weak immunity. Nature is more powerful than any pharmaceutical drug or vaccine. Stop eating dead junk, clean up your act and later think about the planet clean up. Eco? Go Green? what about the synthetic food your kid eats for lunch? Neon color candy? Chips? Colorants? Preservatives? THERE IS NO CURE FOR STUPIDITY. People will do themselves in with ignorance and the thinking process of being saved by a pill. Pain killers? Do you see the word killer in that? This nation advertises it’s problems on TV and it tells all, about what ails us. Drugs, for constipation, insomnia, allergies, digestive track disorders, ulcers, from stomach to large colon, libido drugs (not just for men). Can’t you see it this nation cant, sleep, crap, think, Fornificate and so hopefully problem solved, soon won’t be able reproduce themselves soon … good enough.

To all who think the parents of Autistic kids are crazy for not getting their shots…..
THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY REFUSES TO LISTEN TO US!!!!!! THEIR POCKETS WILL NOT BE LINED IF WE REFUSE TO GET SHOTS. They develope a new shot we do not get our kids the shots= no money for them. My friends are scientists for Pfizer and they agree that no money for them if no shots.
My son was a “normal” (horrible word) child until at age 5 the school said he needed a MMR shot to get into Kindergarten. (his were given too close together as a toddler). So being the “good” (we thought) parents that we are, we went to the pediatrician and got his shot. Two days later he was acting like a toddler. He was rocking, babbling(still talking but babbling in between), could not focus, no hugs, no looking us in the eye, could not tie his shoes, huge tantrums, etc…
We took him to the pediatrician and he was shocked. So we started medical testing. This lasted a year. Now our son who was a “normal” kid is 12 and can not tie his shoes or brush his teeth and much more!!
I am not saying DO NOT GET KIDS SHOTS……just get informed!!
Anyone doubts what I am saying I have medical records to prove it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So please stop judging till you walk a day in our shoes!!

COME ON, I AM 76 YRS OLD. YEP, HAD THEM ALL, & WHEN i GOT THE SHOT FOR POLIO WHEN I WAS PREGNANT IN 61 LAST BABY , YEP , I GOT A MILD FORM OF POLIO.WILL NEVER FORGET THAT PAIN. I AM INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT WE MUST GET RID OF THESE CHILDHOOD DISEASES, BUT WHAT??WITH ALL THESE SHOTS, 1 OUT OF 100 ARE NOW AUTISTIC, IN THE 60’S THALIDOMIDE WAS BIG FOR PREGNANT WOMEN, THANK GOD I NEVER GOT THAT, WHEN MY TWO NEIGHBORS, ONE SON VERY DEFORMED, THE OTHERS DTR. HAD ONLY 1’2 AN ARM. COME ON

I disargree
I am twenty years old and i am one of those unimmunized people and so are my sisters and paretns and many generations on both sides. No one in many generations has had thier vaccination and nobody has died in these case except by natural cause. Their is living proof with my family and others that i have seen personally that are just as well better off. As to the point of “putting our children in danger”, the danger would be tanting them with un natural substances in their pure little bodies. God gives us strength to fight!!!!!!!!! Everyone should remember that when they are thnking about vaccinations

This article makes me so mad I can hardly speak. It sugests that parents who don’t vaccinate there children are relying on the children who are vaccinated to keep them safe. That is bull. My children are not vaccinated. And I can assure you that I am afraid of the children who are to be around mine. They are contaminated as far as I’m concerned. I know five people in my life that have received diseases from babys that were vaccinated (thru urine) from changing diapers. Don’t say stuff that you know nothing about.

I think there is alot of arguments for both sides- I think parents should immunize but in moderation -split them up don’t get 2 or more at time -it is worth the extra co pay even if its hard -the body needs time to fight and how can it fight so many at a time when they are so little and maybe not so many!
