Needling Questions: Immunizing Kids

Needling Questions: Immunizing Kids

If you choose not to have your child vaccinated against measles, mumps, chicken pox, and other infectious diseases, does your responsibility end there?

It’s a debate that continues as the trend for not vaccinating children increases.

Parents who believe that vaccinations are linked to autism, or who object for religious or other reasons, balk at government regulations that bar their unvaccinated children from attending school if they don’t have the required shots. One anti-vaccination group calls forced vaccination “a violation of human rights.”

But those on the opposite side of the argument say not vaccinating violates the rights of others. According to officials at the Centers for Disease Control, “The decision not to vaccinate is a decision for your child but also a decision for society.” They say that unlike other medical issues where refusing treatment affects only the patient, refusing vaccinations puts others at risk as well, including newborns and people with suppressed immune systems.

Parents of unimmunized children rely on the vast majority of kids who do get their shots, figuring there’s little polio, measles, chicken pox or other pathogens to be found among so many protected kids. But with recent measles outbreaks in four states, that protection may not be enough. “We are seeing outbreaks that look different, concentrated among intentionally unimmunized people,” says an immunization official. “I hope they’re not the beginning of a worse trend.”

Tell us what you think: When it comes to vaccinations, do parents have a responsibility beyond their own children?

in the opinion of an unvaccinated person

myself, being unvaccinated, believe it is completely the decision of the parent. I have never contracted a deadly disease that vaccines attempt to prevent and in fact know vaccinated people who have contracted the disease that the vaccine meant to prevent. I think that they are unnecesary! So many of the diseases that we are created vaccines for have been irradicated for years! the CDC even states that any cases of polio seen after 1979 are the cause of the vaccine! then why do we still vaccinate our children for polio? The long term risks of neurological diseases are much more important to me than the possability of having chicken pox or a seasonal flu. There is no need for so many vaccines or any at all in my opinion! so don’t freak out if someone you know doesn’t vaccinate their kid. Their simply doing what is best for their family and in no way putting you in danger. trust me. I know ;)

Society vs. one child's quality of life

If, after understanding risks, you decide to vaccinate your self or your child. That is your choice. I won’t condem you for it. We live in a country build on the belief that we have the right to make personal choices that make sense to us. Through my own personal journey with Autism and the ‘immunization’ issues, I have decided not to vaccinate my children. I believe that immunizations have damaged my son to the point that he will be reliant on others for the rest of his life. The proof exists. The link is there. Its just not as readily available or accessible because certaiin people don’t wish it to be so. I know of a reknowned immunologist. When he was asked about immunizations this is what he said. “I have seven kids and none of them are vaccinated.” Well….that says it all to me. I refuse to jump on the fear wagon that promotes the concept that you are not being a good citizen if you don’t have your children vaccinated when I know that the chances are high that I will damage my children even more. Am I being selfish? I ask this question, Are you being selfish when you demand other people get vaccinated when it could cause catastrophic damage to them just to protect others from the possibility of becoming infected. If I am selfish than I think you are, too. As for me, I am going to go on being selfish if it means protecting my family from an over the top vaccine schedule.

Autism does not cause death????

You say Autism doesnt cause death? OK…what about the young man that went for a 40+ mile walk and then drowned in the river because he was fasinated by water. What about the child that has no notion of his own safety thanks to his autism and walked out in traffic one day and was killed. What about the child that would bang his head into a wall over and over until he caused enough trauma to kill him. The behaviors that lead to these nightmarish scenes are a direct result of being autistic. So your argument is flawed.

doing the right thing

I understand where you are coming from. Vaccines have saved many lives. I worry about where you are getting your research information. Have you only looked into what is reviewed and accepted by the AAP? Have you looked into who was researching and writing the thesis and where they are funded? In a perfect world, it shouldn’t matter, but it does. Vaccines make a lot of money and to attack them is a big deal. I, personnally, am not all black and white. I think there is a place in our world for vaccines. But the current government approved schedule is overwhelming. Its too much. I would agree with a schedule that wasn’t so aggressive and took into account how the child is doing between each one. Think about it this way. Can you think of one drug that absolutely nobody is allergic to? Honestly, people can be allergic to anything. So why do we assume that all vaccines are for all kids 100% of the time? You could say that an allergic reaction isn’t autism but do we know that, yet? There is evidence that the immune system plays a role in autism. We don’t have all the answers, its true but that doesnt mean that we should bury our heads in the sand and ignore the possibility. It exists and as a parent and daughter of people with autism, It isn’t a chance I am willing to take with my family. Respecfully, Aiden’s mom

People, R.T. Trall, an insightful New York M.D. once said it best, “disease itself is the remedial process it’s not something that needs to be cured (attacked, subdued, thwarted, killed), it’s something that should be allowed to complete its purification and repair unhindered”. Symptoms like fever, skin eruptions, mucus, headache, vomiting, sneezing, coughing etc. etc. are life saving, life preserving, and life protecting and that is why so many people get well IN SPITE OF all the wrong actions.
The real problem is what precedes the symptoms, not the germ or the virus which is in the category of “predictable background phenomenon” but the individual health choices and mass unhealthful events like for example Christmas partying (overeating, overworking, denatured foods (acidity) and no food digestion rules (acidity), other causes include
uncleanliness, exposure to direct toxins (examples – pesticides in the food, pollution as a result of bad sanitation, drug use) and indirect toxins – example: exhaustion which checks elimination. Examples of stress which contributes to exhaustion are cold weather, less sun exposure in the winter, mass fear etc.
In other words a sudden increase, a spike if you will in toxicity is followed by a sudden increase or SPIKE IN PURIFICATION WHICH IS ACUTE ILLNESS (example: a cold), nature’s homeostatic response of symptoms all of which accomplish detox. The microbe acts as a catalyst to this process.
Don’t FIGHT the disease with toxic pills and vaccines, but FACILITATE the disease process which IS THE RECOVERY and PURIFICATION PROCESS by detoxing and resting i.e. fasting or semi-fasting, rest, water, warmth, quiet (and sometimes the use of detoxifying substances such as fiber, and chlorophyll). Realize that the medical profession has always been part voodoo profession and as such they have always had a denial and cover-up culture because they have almost always insisted on using unnatural approaches that have had uncontrollable negative outcomes. Even though Pasteur agreed with Bechamp and Claude Bernard that the “terrain” i.e. the environment and your body are the key to understanding what microbes do and even when Pasteur denied his original premise that germs are the cause of disease, the medical profession had found its perfect story for their pervasive cover-up culture. Now they could successfully blame almost everything on germs and viruses and sound plausible. (This by the way is an extension of the ancient supersticious tendancy to believe that an illness is an attack especially if you can’t explain it and have no clue as to cause and effect.)
The only thing is they are injuring people when they attack disease because THEY ARE ATTACKING THE RECOVERY PROCESS WITH IDIOTIC POISONS LIKE MERCURY, FORMALDEHYDE, ALUMINUM, PUS FROM OTHER SPECIES etc etc.” The emperor has no cloths” but they are telling you that they are the “EXPERTS” i.e. “We’re the experts, so it must be true”.
Dr. Andrew Moulden, a respected brain researcher, and one of many dissenters, has shown for example that all vaccines can cause strokes because the white blood cells formed clog small vessels which relates to elderly people/ Alzheimers, children/ autism.
SO PEOPLE WAKE UP. YOUR HUNCH IS CORRECT. YOU’RE BEING TYRANNIZED AND INJURED EN MASS BY THE MEDICAL NUMSKULLS INSISTING ON PSEUDO-SCIENCE AND BLAMING ALL THE BAD RESULTS ON GERMS AND VIRUSES, THEIR PERVASIVE AND SPECIOUS COVER-UP STORY and they are more than willing to sacrifice you and your family to make an extra 5 cents and perpetuate a lie.

Yours for health truth,

MJ

Vaccines

I choose not to vaccinate my children, because I have studied the topic extensively and am not willing to risk my children’s health. I have many pateint’s whose children have been paralyzed or are autistic as a DIRECT result of vaccination. Not to mention many adults with Guillan-Barret Syndrome. Calling non-vaccinators crazy is very irresponsible and ignorant. Some of us are just unwilling to risk our children’s health, because someone says you have to.

i vaccinated my first and will possibly not the ne

i have been reading and hearing for years about people who dont vaccinate their children… and for years wondered WHY THE HELL WOULD U DO THAT!… now after age and after my child being in the hospital for a week and the only thing that “cured” her was my holistic remedies. made me veer in my thoughts….

i have been holistic and have been making nutritional changes in my life……and whats funny (not to bash anyone) but since that hospital stay me nor my daughter have been sick again…yes a lil cold but i mean anything worth SCREAMING about NO. Healthy diet, clean environment, and letting my body fight cold has made my immune system strong against anything that comes to it. over the counter medicine only masks the system and doesnt teach your body to fight for itself, is that what vaccinations are doing? are we not training ourselves for the battle and one day will have to face a fight that we arent prepared for? thats what i ask myself.

my child at the age before she was to start her vaccinations, her aunt ( who was vaccinated) had gotten chicken pox at 22… i nicely took my child over to her house and told her to hold her real tight kiss her and all.. why u ask…i was breast feeding and i had given her my immunity and plus i wanted her exposed to it so she could fight it……SHE NEVER GOT CHICKEN POX

now even though i highly believe that the body should be able to fight.. since thats nature purpose im also sided on the issue to vaccinate or not to….since there is a danger to other children.. what if that other person doesnt care for there kids the way i do and there immune system is compromised?.. or what if someone comes from calamazu with a crazy strain of TB and my child cannot fight it? maybe certain vaccinations should be IF U FEEL LIKE IT vaccinations, the flu shot, mmr, polio, and hep. amongst others…and for people who will be around many different individuals ( health care workers etc.)

yes we should all have a choice, but dammit this is a catch 22…

why so scared?

If parents choose to not vaccinate their children, good for them. We were put on earth with all that we would need and im pretty sure that mother nature wasnt giving out shots before the medical craze swept through the world. Not vaccinating your children is not putting others at risk. If your so confident in vacination, then why should it matter if others are vaccinated or not. Shouldn’t you be able to fight off any disease since you have gotten the all mighty vaccination??
